I have for sale out of my collection a Custom Vintage Remington .223 Special Varmint 24" bull barrel,doubt that you will see another like it,in excellent condition.DOM 1981,was shipped to Remington's custom Shop in 1989 for a redo, custom laminated BR stock,barrel shortened 3 inches and threaded for muzzle break,match chamber,jeweled bolt,Caldwell swivel bi-pod, Leuopold base and rings,topped with a nice Mueller 8-32X44 Target Scope has a cross hair 1/8 target dot reticle,side focus knob,Jewel BR trigger set at 4 oz,have scope box and original trigger,Had this set up for long distance and BR target shooting,v,and varmint hunting,very accurate,beautiful piece. I don’t want to speak too soon because it’s not mine yet but I am excited to try it out myself! I’ve read that with these rifles a 40gr bullet is recommended over the standard 55gr. But it can print a quarter at 700 yards.

A one inch group at 700 yards ? That’s better than I’ve ever seen .
