    I'm cleaning up and have a few things to get rid off.... Is there a right & wrong way to carry stuff to the recycle place? I don't wanna be that guy everybody is cussing for doing it wrong.....lol its mostly alumunium & steel, do you separate different grades of metals?

    Needs to be seperate to get the premium price. If any of it is mixed they give you bottom scrap rate. Keep your aluminum and brass seperate. Also clean aluminum brings a premium over the rest. I'm not sure if prices have come up any. They were way down. Almost not worth going.

    by "clean" they mean no other metals attached ie: screws , wheel weights , etc. cans need to be just cans in bags, boxes or garbage can. the roof may have steel screws in it , if you leave them in it's "not clean" and gets a cheaper rate.

    Clean would be Like a stripped lower. No other pieces or parts.
    If there are screws or trim or anything, you will get the lowest rate.
