Looking for recommendations for a tactical rifle in 22lr. I had the m4 chiappa while a nice plinkster being plastic felt too toyish. My current choices are the S&W MP15-22, CMMG 22lr upper and inexpensive lower or the walther mp5 A5 22lr. Fun gun for the range. Thoughts? Thanks

I have had the M&P 15-22 for about a year now and i love it. I use an inexpensive red dot sight and it is always right on. No problems at all with it and would recomend it.

I have a Spikes dedicated .22 upper and I'm pretty happy with it. I just wish it had a shorter barrel for my pistol lower.

Contact Nate...Little Jacks Guns and have him custom build a .22 upper to the specs you want.

after having every single 22 on the market, id say the sig 522 was the best

the mp15-22 was like a toy compared to the sig, and every shot you head the plastic bolt thud sound, just not like a rear AR for looking the part

the gsg was a total turd although it looked great

    mossberg IS a toy

    ruger sr22 was solid

I love my 15-22 and it gets great reviews from the writers.

I loved mine too. Till my wife shot it. She put about a hundred rounds down it the day I bought it. When we got home she.asked for the manual. Read it then I.showed her how to clean it. When we were done she carried it to the safe, placed it gently in the rack, petted it, turned to me and said "That one is mine".:tape2:
