PTR 9CT or CZ Scorpion??

The MP5 is in a class all its own. It can not be compared to modern stuff. Modern stuff just stomps a mudhole in an MP5's butt. So I'll compare the MP5 to it's direct competitors a way back when it was new technology. I'd much rather have a Sterling or a PPS43C than an MP5. I have owned both. I've rented full auto Uzi's and a grease gun and a Reising. All very cool. I never even took a second look at the MP5. The PPS43C is my favorite out of all of the old school PCC's, with excellent balance, ergonomics and controls with no failures, with a helluva fast shooting flat trajectory armor piercing Tokarev cartridge

I think the mp5 shines where it was meant to be in. And that's in full auto mode. It can be used like a water hose and precise. It's not all over the place.

As far as the mp5 design being "dated" the AR and AK are as well. Sometimes if it ain't broke why fix it?

It also appears from reading online that the ptr has the fluted chamber. Somebody look at theirs and see.

I know it's not one of the choices but I like the psa akv9. Takes cz mags and psa 35 round mags. And has lrbho.

To me the MP5 is one of the true PDWs. Which is a whole other ball of wax vs PCC. all are good so long as they're used for the right task. The MP5 still does it well tho. It's a little big for what it does. But it does it very well
