They keep mentioning "profit", let's take into account the actual value of the highly inflated dollar currently and compare. Just because the number is higher doesn't mean it's worth more.

ive never made a dime selling anything firearm related... llucky to break even at best. more rules when theres already 21,000 laws on the books already. it will just make the sales circles a little smaller and people wont trust any stranger offering to buy or sell.

Exactly. If you move enough volume to where you are a blip on the radar they will come at you trying to tax the sale price based on what the article said above with the implied gain of value so they will assume everything is a profit.

Then you will have to prove it's not.

I agree that we have plenty of state and federal laws that regulate firearm sales already on the books! We should have the right to ask WAAAY more $$ than what our Glockish Hi Point with custom DIY stippling (done with a Harbor Freight soldering iron after drinking a 12 pack) is worth!
