130K ain't nothing and I can guarantee he didn't have much to do with sealing the deal...He pays lawyers and folks to do that for him. All politicians are crap, it's just demos are worse then others...
Whether or not Cohen paid Daniels without Trump's knowledge is a central question, given that acting on behalf of a client without that client knowing could be a violation of New York state bar rules.
Snake eyes you made the point for me. A porn star is not going to have the legal resources of a foreign nation. Her motivations are not complex, she wants money and fame. If a billionaire with all of his high powered lawyers cannot even deal with her and close the loopholes then . . .
You know what - Fuck it - to use your terms so that nothing is lost in translation. If you don't get it by now, if you don't see the train coming down the track -heading right towards this stalled administration then - who am I to try to point it out to you. Just keep pouring out your foul language and your hatred.
Sorry you had bad experiences with lawyers.
For those alleging that Trump did not even know about the payment:
You made my point.
You sincerely believe that a mistake by a billionaire's high-powered LAWYERS translates into a definitive judgement about that person's skill at negotiating with foreign governments.
So, conversely, by your own "logic", a complete an utter IDIOT would be the world's best negotiator if he/she/it had the world's best LAWYERS.
LAWYERS speak their own secret code bookworm hidden legalese antiseptic language. Unfortunately, the system is so convoluted due to their generations of continually infecting it with more minutia that we are dependent on them to continue to wade through the muck.
"Negotiations" does NOT equal "contract verbiage".
Negotiation: "I made him an offer he couldn't refuse"
Contract: the piece of paper the guy signed
Two separate areas, each with its own levels of expertise.
Trump is NOT A LAWYER.
Your entire premise is really a judgement on the LAWYER, but You are so fixated on making a "train coming down the tracks", that you Twist it into a prosecution of the POTUS.
Just. Like. A. LAWER. Would. Do.
Which is why I pointed out earlier how your revelation of your job explains why you post the way you do.
Now, is this response laid out clearly enough, or is it considered "hatred", still?
Because I'm trying to cut back on my fucking foul language, too.
Worse they need money and selling warheads and ICBM is a great way to raise some cash.
Jeb, Your posts are entertaining and I appreciate your zeal for the left wing agenda. I just don't agree. Thats part of what makes America great. Whether youre right or wrong, its part of the freedoms we enjoy in this country. I am glad you have the gun forum to defend your political views, but frankly, I doubt your going to change any minds on here and are likely wasting valuable time. But, have at it. Proverbs 26:12
I agree. I do have some legit concerns about the man in charge. We are starting to see his true colors on guns (which is obviously the biggest issue for most folks here) Also the Republican party is fumbling a golden opportunity to really push its agenda - It effectively controls the government and yet not much is happening. Every week, we hear of more resignations from within the administration, and more waste of tax payer money on frivolous items such as tea sets by Trump appointees and more silly trips to Mara Largo to play golf. The democratic party in Texas is highly motivated and had a great turn out for the most recent special elections. This may be a foreshadowing of things to come. I am concerned that a bunch of anti-gun candidates are going to win in the mid term elections and our collective gun rights will suffer for it.
Right now there is no clear vision as to what the GOP wants to do going forward on any issue - tariffs, DACA, guns, infrastructure, North Korea, anything. The government is understaffed and cannot seem to focus on more than one issue at a time. Blame for this lack of leadership has to fall on the leaders, Trump, Mcconnell and Ryan. But these guys will not really suffer for their inaction, we will when the suddenly a new "assault weapons" ban passes congress and Trump signs it.
Now this is spot on. The Republicans need to get their act together because if it is Trump vs. someone who is not a radical left winger then we may have a Democratic prez next time.
Idoono

In a scathing report released Wednesday about a trip Shulkin took to Europe last year, the VA inspector general said Shulkin’s chief of staff, Vivieca Wright Simpson, changed an email to make it appear Shulkin was going to be honored at a special dinner during the trip, thus necessitating his wife’s travel.
