Picked up a G30 SF.

Very nice pistol. Shoots well. 10rds of 45 acp awesomeness. Carried today all day while working around the homestead. It's alot lighter and more comfortable than I thought it would be. Using owb holster, don't know what brand as it was a gift. Cycles snake shot too. Using the factory 10rd mags with pierce floor plates.
I normally use a chest rig around the house, just easier for doing work. I'll have to crack open my wallet and get one of the alien gear chest ones with the switchable plate, shell.

I traded for it. Had I been buying I probably would have gotten the 30s. As far as I can tell the 30s is a 30 with a 36? Slide. I have no idea what the real differences are if any other than the slimmer slide on the 30s. Does the 30s have the sf frame??

It feels about the same as my 21 - That's why I'm selling the 21SF. Keep it all the same as much as I can.

Yep. I just picked up a 21sf. Gonna use it for 45 super.
But the G30 is 34oz loaded. Almost 10oz heavier than the XDS! But has 2x capacity.

Also I like the SF grip better. If I can I'll locate a G29 slide too.

Ordered the versacarry commander holster for it. Like this one. It won't arrive till after I leave. Its a good owb belt slide holster.

Wore it all day. In truck, down to foley, the dump, hooked up trailer, unhooked trailer, in acadamy, dollar store. Got gas. Did a deal. Easy carry, i like it.. Hip holster. Living on the edge with only 11rds! Used a thin button up shirt untucked.

Suprisingly the G30 carries pretty good. Figured it would be a nuisance due to the size and weight. Need to pickup a shoulder rig for summer use. Galco lite maybe.
