Does anyone know if there's a local place that can build a new stock? I have a vintage bolt action .22 that had a cracked stock & was repaired many years ago. It has since failed again. Ideally, I'd like to get a new stock made from the old one if it's not too expensive. Another repair may work too, but I'd like to see if I can get one made first.
It's on a Ward's store branded Mossberg & I found one that was supposed to match from a cross reference chart, but there were differences, namely where the rear peep sight & scope mount that prevented their installation. Any help would be appreciated.
