New Old Guy Pt2

Just a quick follow up. I am 67 and though I seriously thought about gun ownership going way back to the 80's (I lived in Brooklyn, NY Till 1990) I shot my first gun ever in 2012. Now I Carry 90% a Glock G17, and the other 10% a Glock G26 (with a 12 round Magpul Pmag). I also have a G19, but use that to train my Grand kids with ( I like the grip better on the G17 gen 4) I also have 3 Rugers SR40C, Ruger LCP (which I do carry on offhand front pocket with whatever is on my belt. And I have a Ruger LCR in 38 (For the life of me that is the hardest firearm i have to be accurate with). No rifle yet.

Good assortment of hardware. No rifle yet? Hummmm, I see an AR-15 in your future.

or a good 30.06 with scope....shotgun is a good choice too, for a long gun

Where in Brooklyn you from? I was born there (lived at 42nd and Ft Hamilton) and stayed until '73. Moved out to Long Island until '96 when I saw the light and got out of the Peoples Republic of New York and moved to sunny and gun friendly Florida! Although I did lots of shooting in NY too.
