My oldest son shot this rifle as a youngin. One day we went in from a morning hunt and had lunch and he could not wait to get back out to the Big Shootin house to hunt for the afternoon. The Big Shootin House was on the edge of a harvested corn field and seemed to always have deer come to it late in the afternoon. I liked the idea of going to the shootin house early because it was cold and rainy and I was planning on getting a good nap before late afternoon.

We got to the shootin house and I got comfortable and told Clay to let me know if he sees anything. About 30 minutes into my slumber he woke to me to tell me there was as crow in the middle of the corn field and he wanted to know if he could shoot it? I told him go ahead and he went back to his window and sat his rifle on the pain and got ready to shoot.....He was 7 years old. I looked up and out my window to see the crow about 125 yards away standing in the middle of the field. I watched out my window fully expecting to hear a gun shot and then watch the crow fly off... Clay readied, took a breath and fired and I watched the Crow turn into a black stationary dot in the spot it once stood. We walked out to retrieve the Crow and Clay was as proud as could be, but I may have been a little more proud.

It's a good shooter.
