Does it come with plate(s)? I'm interested as I have the A3 and like it.
It does not, but when you register it for the warranty, Beretta will send you a free mounting plate of your choice (five platforms to choose from - Aimpoint, Trijicon, Burris/Vortex/Doctor, Leupold, and C-More). I am getting the Burris/Vortex/Doctor plate send to me. They said to expect it in the next four weeks. They will also have the plates available for purchase within that same time frame for those that are buying the 92X Performance Defensive and the 92X RDO.

I was curious if they were going to do something like Walther did with the PDP. I wonder if CHPWS will be making plates for these optic ready Berettas. Would be interested to see pics of the plate when you get it if you have the time.

How's the triggers compare? The A4 has a different trigger than the A3 from what I'm reading.

I had a similar question asked earlier today on another forum. They are very similar, but the Enhanced Short Reset Xtreme Trigger System on the M9A4 is a little nicer. The reset is a bit shorter and overall trigger performance seems smother and the pull seems a bit lighter. It is very similar to the trigger system on the 92X Performance. The triggers themselves are identical on the M9A3 and M9A4, but the action is where there is a slight difference.

Hmmm... wonder how this compares to the RDO work Langdon Tactical started doing? It's interesting that Beretta is coming out with their own version now. Langdon actually machined the slide specifically to facilitate an rmr. Here's a pic of my 92X I sent in for full RDO cut and trigger work and my M9A3 with NP3 coating and fully adjustable fiber optic sights.

I don't think it's even worth comparing the A3 or A4, even with better action, to the LT trigger pull. My LTT elite with the langdon trigger job is just hands down the best 92 trigger you can get, IMO. Close to my WC Vertec with the action tune, but IMO the LT trigger is better.
