Looks like a 9mm version of the 5.7 frangible ammo
Also looks like 4-5$ a round lol
    How much is it?!

Their logic is illogical and defies physics. They state that it dumps its energy quickly but penetrated deeply. Ya' can't have both.

    I want some!
    Does it come in 45?
The low weight makes it pretty speedy. I'll bet after the talons are shed, it still has a good amount of force. Enough to get through the breast plate? Not sure in 9. Maybe in a 45 +p format.

Makes me think of what the media thought these things would do:

Which of course, was not quite accurate.

Holy crap! I do wonder about its effectiveness on bone. I know they shot a cinder block but you really can't tell if the talons made it through. Pretty cool

I'd think the talons were maybe 1/4 of the total weight. If so, the core should may still have enough mass to break through bone.

They should have nickel coated them with black brass cases and called them platinum talons.

Seems gimmicky to me. I had a hard time listening to the voice in the video and taking it seriously. They claim 490 foot pounds of muzzle energy out a 96 grain bullet doing 1265 fps. That's just not possible and would be around 340 ME. If they are so blatantly lying about that on their website who knows what other bogus claims they are making.

Why wouldn't they do standard ballistics test in calibrated 10% gelatin and advertise the results. I'm betting the gelatin used in the videos is not calibrated and as dense as what most standard test are fired into. Someone will do some independent testing once it's out and we will find out.

Maybe so. 357s can get that kind of energy though. I couldn't hear the voice, had it muted. Definitely an interesting concept at the very least.

I heard them mention that each round was machined in a CNC which would make them extremely expensive.

I am not a fan of gimmick type ammo but innovation is good thing. If it is is legit it may cause others to step up their game.

Looks like you will be able to buy them soon. Only $4 a rounds.LOL

It will be interesting to see some of the You tube regulars test this stuff.

    Darn!
No 45 or 357 yet huh?

I suppose it makes more sense to go after the larger market for beta testing and proof of concept. Maybe I'll buy some in support and hope that they'll offer different favors later ok.

Impressive. Like this concept better than the bolo like ammo discussed on the forum earlier this month
