What kind of and how much research went into the design of the "brake" ?? Placement, volume, and design of the holes ??

Is it open or closed at the end ?? What chambering is it designed for ?? What material is it made from ?? --- SAWMAN

Why I Ask ---> There is tons of R&D that goes into a brake that mitigates recoil to a good level. IMO a "good level" will be a reduction of at least 30%.

Also IMO ---> most brakes are simply made to look kewl so they will sell. Some brakes come with a posted summery of the R&D and the "actual" reduction in felt recoil and muzzle rise. Please remember though there is no such thing as a free lunch. When using a muzzle device there is usually a trade off. Typically it is a reduction in muzzle rise for loudness and overpressure transmitted to the shooter or bystanders.

Also ---> a muzzle brake has a closed end .... a flash hider does not. If a device is marketed to be able to do both .... typically they will only do both half-assed. --- SAWMAN
