    Knowing how the pentagon negotiates/signs contracts, they'll be surprised one day to find they gave Elon controlling intertest in the DoD, and will probably have to pay him a penalty for $%^&ing themselves. That, and considering the 2-3+ year budget cycle, when it works optimally, by the time they get the funding for what they need right, then production starts/ramps up, they might get some of what they need today in 4-5 years. By then it'll be obsolete/outdated.
