Agreed on staying away from LEM. Premium prices for average products. Was unimpressed with my $300 grinder compared to $100 academy unit.

I have a sub $100 Chef’s Choice slicer. I don’t use it much, maybe a couple times a year to slice jerky, buts its sufficient for my needs. Had it 4 or 5 years.

The LEM jerky gun and roaches will be the only things left after a nuclear blast lol. Love that thing.

I was in the market for a good slicer, I settled for the 12 inch commercial Cabelas slicer. I got it at Bass Pro in Spanish Fort, paid around $400.00 . This is by far the best for my money that I could buy. I buy whole boneless hams and turkey for less than $4.00 a lb and slice away. The ham is like $3.88 lb if I get the same thing at the deli it’s just under $10.00 lb so do your math. Plus slicing jerky meat is a breeze.

I’ve got one that I bought from a defunct restaurant ( Mickeys PitStop ) that I haven’t used in a couple of years. Hopefully the wife remembers where she put it. She gets it dug out and makes sure it still works I’ll let you know. I don’t even know what the brand name is but it worked great every time I used it.if you find one in the meantime no problem I’ll probably just post it for sale anyway once I know it still works
Wife told me to add that it’s a commercial meat slicer.
