    something tells me i should order that screw asap bc it seem like everyone is out of stock on them like the guard lol

    this still hasnt gotten done, the parts have been on backorder from marlin for 3 months now.

    brownells had the guard in stock, i just need help finding the rear trigger guard screw?? in black. anyone have a link to one??

    Boyds stocks as with most other laminates will require some minor sanding and cutting for a perfect fit. Even their " drop in" stocks need minor work.

    is there any diff is 917 or 17?? i notice some places dont list parts under 917 but they do under 17. did marlin change the name and take off the "9"?

    As I recall its just a painted wood screw. Duracoat a stainless one and be done

    yea thats what im going to end up doing. everything is ordered thru brownells. im sick of waiting for marlin. every month i call they tell me anther 30days.
