I added a Mesa Tactical "Truckee" 1-pc aluminum Mlok HG and their 6-shot side saddle, went on with no issues. Added a section of rail for future use.

Swapped out the OEM hammer with a US made hammer from ShootingSight, easy swap, 100% part compatibility.

    Overall look so far...

This is the way mine was set up when i got it. I like it, it has the oversize charging handle, the MI mount for holosun, eyeballing for a deal on a tube extention

..so what choke tube gives best results for slugs?

I tested all three that came with my SG and the Cyl gave me the best results. The groups got slightly larger as the choke got tighter.

I suppose other SG's with other chokes or slugs might differ.

I was using the Federal LE127 1oz. slug, just bought a case and will be buying another as they shoot well in this SG.

I have a MAC +2 extension and spring new in package, ordered for my Panzer M4 but didn’t fit, so ordered one from panzer. One of the “99% parts compatibility” things. Paid like $56 directly from SDS after taxes and shipping. Make me an offer and let’s trade something. In central FL so would have to ship.

Correction... looks like about 8 3/4"... I'm doing the same modifications to my marine finish MAC 1014.

Extension should be here ibn a couple days, already got a shipping notice.

    I think so…

I think that’s the size I’m leaning towards. The 8 1/2 seems small and the 15 seems kind of big. All I really plan on attaching is a light and vertical grip.

You were too fast lol... to me the one I got seems perfect but I'm only 5' 7" so my arm length isn't that long.

Gotcha. The benefit of the short one is retaining the factory sling mount, the longer 2 have to remove it. I may get real high tech and cut a 2x4 to each of the 3 lengths mesa makes and put them next to the gun and see what it looks like.

Other than really long arms... I'm not sure why they make them so long.

It’s a shotgun, so only so much you’re gonna strap onto it. I can’t think of much more than a light and grip, so yeah agreed don’t really need all that much real estate.
