Awesome! I had a dog make it over to me in the still hunt section 2 years ago and wouldn't leave. He came right to my tree and started treeing me. Haha

I climbed down and called the number on the collar and got him back to his owner running dogs about 3 miles away. They can travel a good distance when hooked on a scent! The owner was very happy I didn't shoot his dog and I can understand a hunter being upset because their hunt is over if the dog never leaves but its what they are trained to do and not their fault. I told him i couldn't imagine shooting a dog for doing its job.

Our Britney Spaniel got lost during a dove hunt that turned into a quail hunt. We found her in a person's yard chained in the back seat. It nearly came to a lead swap before my Dad convinced the thief that they'd be burying one or the other of them if he didn't take the chain off our dog.
