Looking For Toyota Tacoma

I'm looking for a Toyota Tacoma 2004 or newer with low miles (less than (100k).

Crew cab, automatic with the 2.7 engine.

Not sure how the out of state vehicles are done title wise so... I'm leaning toward a Florida titled truck.

Have $$$ for right one.

Don't think you're going to find a 2.7 TRD. There are rumors of possible TRD 2.7s in the first generation tacomas, (1998-2004). From 2005 to current, all TRDs are 4.0 V6s.

I have been trying to find that out for over a month.

I 'm sure I have seen the TRD package with both 4.0 and the 3.4 but not the 2.7.

I'll see if I can fix my post accordingly.

I kind of hate to go to a dealer but may have too.

I did see a white extended cab TRD Off-road in the newer body style (05+) at that small dealership in Pace across from Walmart yesterday.

Check out TacomaWorld. It's a forum, and has a good number of trucks for sale too.

Also, not sure what kind of rush you're in, but Toyota is going to reveal the 2016 Tacoma in about a week, and I'd expect the prices to start dropping on the current body style.

I have this fear of those type places as I have heard that they buy them at the auction and "quick fix"

All the problems on them...

Anybody know much about the small lots ?

I do have an add in craigslist under the wanted section.

I have had a couple of responses , one was in Panama City.

I spotted one in St Augustine F L A that I liked and might would have bought it but couldn't get the owner to call me on the phone, he wanted to xext back and forth, I don't text and I told him that LOL!

Yea, those small lots are kind of fishy. Good thing about Toyotas though is you can look up their past dealer service history on the Toyota website with the vin.

So any truck you're interested in, make sure to type the vin into the website, and it will give its service history.

If you find one, and need help, shoot me a PM. I did it about 15 times until I found the right truck.
