Looking for a small engine repair air to work on my push mower and pressure washer. Pretty sure the carbs are gummed up from ethanol fuel. Preferably something close to the bagdad area. Thanks
Ive always had good luck with the Sea Foam Spray, just remove the air breather and spray it into the carb.. let it sit then try and start the machine, once it starts it will smoke some.. Spray more cleaner into it while its running, should smoke some more..
I work with a guy who has had pretty good luck taking the carbs off and soaking them in lacquer thinner for a few days. He just takes the float bowl off and puts the parts in a coffee can with thinner. Keeps his and his dad's stuff running. If I was certain there were no plastic parts in the carb, I'd try MEK myself. Good luck.
I heard The Tool Shack does small engine repair. I know they are a serviceing dealed for a couple manufacturers.
I'd give them a call. They have 2 locations. Gulf Breeze and Pensacola.
If they cant help, they would likely know who can.
Take the float bowl off spray and clean , replace your lines, make sure the tank is empty and clean, Spray carb cleaner or wd40 in the carb and start w fresh premium gas, keep doing that till it stays running...cheaper than a shop
