Looking for a light weight .38 revolver

Federal makes a low/light recoil round in .38 in self defense . Might want to find a box of those and give them a try.

However, the answer may be staring us in the face: I’ve found smith 39’s to be accurate and reliable, and standard pressure 125 hollow point 9mm’s Out of a 39 isn’t a big deal on your hands.

The 39 does not conceal nearly as easily as the 642. Also the 39 was her grandfathers so unless it is a last resort we don't want to use it for personal defense as it will go to the custody of the local police department and will never be returned in the same condition as it left.
