Missed the boat on all the cheap AK's in the 90's. Want one, but don't want to pay $6-800 for a parts kit built rifle. There anyone in the panhandle or adjacent states that does kit builds?

Build party? 5.45 is still pretty cheap, and kits and barrels are available from Atlantic Firearms and Apex guns for pretty cheap.

Good question, everyone builds Ar's , I bet lots build Ak's I think on PPF , JJ7.62JDL or a name something like that did. Are you in here man?

I've looked into it but it seems way more involved then an ar build.

http://ak-builder.com/ has a ton of info. It is not an easy build without the specialized tools.

Yup, one and the same.

I'd consider getting the equipment and building them, if kit prices were lower.
