Problem: Press was not always advancing to next station and when it did, the turret did not rotate far enough and lock in place at the new station.
Cause: The fool changing turrets, me. Turns out the square ratchet was damaged. (It did not take much damage to cause the problem.)
Fix: Less than 3 minutes and a replacement ratchet (part TF 3567 - I think). Several videos online on how to do it. Cost about $9 dollars (I bought 5 spares, less than $2 each).
Result: Press indexes correctly and locks into the next station properly without any further adjustment needed. Only replacing the ratchet. Side benefit, the indexing rod does not hit the base as hard and is much quieter.
Prevention: Do not be an idiot like me.
Rule of thumb: Raise the ram first before messing with the indexing rod or turret. Doing this seems to protect the square ratchet.
Could also read the directions I suppose.
