JP Sauer & Sohns SAA revolver. 357. 5.5" barrel. Will shoot anything you feed it.
One of the originals, action is still crisp and locks up tight. Great shooter.
    Comes with a holster.
Made in West Germany by the same people who started Sig Sauer.
DEFINITELY not one of those Saturday Night Specials.

    Asking $300 of best.

    PM is best.
Must be legal to buy and own in Florida. I will take money off for active duty.

Just so you guys know, JP Sauer & Sohns was well known for making some of the best quality firearms. If I had the cash, I would be all over this revolver.

    Second in case!

That hog leg will make your butt look too big! You really need to let Plinker have it.

Plinker, Those pimp grips on a blue gun are well below the dignity and fine taste you are widely admired for. You really need to let me have it!

I'll take sloppy 4th place just in case the ink is still wet on their Franklins.

During the inspection with RackingRay, we could not get the base pin out. Thinking the base pin was bent, I took it home for closer inspection.
It looks like previous owner tried to pull the base pin out without fully depressing the release pin. There are a couple of small burrs right the top where it catches on the base.
Base pin is straight and can be easily tested by inserting it direct into the cylinder/base pin bushing.
I was going to make a dirty joke about it, but will not.
After playing with the base pin for 5 mins it now comes out without tools, assuming the release pin is pressed and the ejector/reload door is open.

I took the picture off, that resolution makes everything look huge. Colt I have for sale and my wife both look like they are 85 years old. Wife is not for sale though.

Mr. Plinker gets to try it out.
    PM sent.

Glad the problem was as simple as discussed. I am not sure we had the loading gate open, another reason I never use force; may not have had the loading gate open and had we tried force, it would not be good.

Plinker gets his chance and if all is error free, a good revolver for the woods.

That Colt is much nicer than the pics show, and perhaps that Colt deep blue makes pictured harder to get good ones. With the exception of that one small scratch, it has only normal holster wear for light use and I was tempted, even though I am not a Colt man!

It was nice meeting you and enjoyed the conversation!
