Wife wanted corned beef and cabbage with onions, but felt she had too little cabbage. I encouraged her to add green onion or other veggies to balance it. She did. She added kimchee, and poblanos.

It was so good in bowl 2 I cut up more kimchee to add some fresh cold crunch. Amazing!

Nice! Im slacking on pics. Made cajun bbq skewers with royal reds and chicken breast chunks along with grilled corn for lunch. Stopped at costellos for 10 lb bags of chicken leg quarters for $10.

I dont shoot much in this heat but i still try to do the hunter gatherer thing. Ran across some shrimp on facebook and bought 10 lbs of 10/12 count. Deheaded them, bagged up a bunch. Saved the heads and made fried cajun spiders with some home grown sweet taters and jalapeno ketchup. These things are awesome! Its the first time i tried making them.

Been slow to post lately. First is one I spotted a video of online, Garlic Bread Chili Dogs.

Then, Pounders Hawaiian style grills Garlic Chicken and white macaroni salad (wife had rice and mac).

Last is some Korean Yaki mandu (fried dumplings) that was an appetizer for last nights dinner out. Main course did not get photographed as I was distracted by the best restaurant bulgogi (Korean BBQ beef) I have ever tasted. Almost as good as what the wife makes!

Flour eggs sugar salt vanilla butter. I put the cinnamon on top but that’s my addition. It pops way up ine oven then shrinks down when you take it out. Pretty cool. You can top with fruit or yogurt or honey or powdered sugar etc. but not necessary.

Made my soft white chocolate chip cookies at Jacks request.

The recipe says the key to softness is the amount of butter and type of sugars. Maybe but I had them crisp up on me before I figured it out. The way I ensure softness is to use bread flour and pull the cookies out early, let them cool, then put them back in for a second, final bake.
