Cool. I'll get mine out soon and check into that. Only other option I like is the find a sheet of brass about 3/8 or so thick. And trace my old barrel band outline on it. Then take a jewelers saw and cut a new one out with an added spot for a lug hole. Then round off the edges with a file to match the original. Would take about 2-3 hours with the right tools. That looks alot easier tho. Thanks bud
save that piece of cut off Barrel it's good for practicing your Technique, making sure you drill the right size hole for the tap and that sort of thing
Another thing to keep in mind once you get the new bead on it's going to stick through to the inside of the barrel. You either have to take it back out and trim some off or use a Dremel grinder on the inside of the barrel .
