If I was to guess what will happen to Iran if they try to get back at the U.S., is a targeted B-52/B-2/B1-B strike at their precious nuke site of Nantaz. They would have to use bunker busters....but hey we got em, use them. Then we will have effectively set back their nuke clock to zero.

Iran will do their normal coward actions: mines and indiscriminate damage of international shipping, push terrorists and their controlled militias to strik soft targets including U.S. aligned businesses and oil facilities. They might try to lockdown the Strait of Hormuz.

They lay mines we destroy Port facilities.
They use missiles we destroy all air defense and launch sites/batteries.
The attack with drones or aircraft we destroy airfields and air assets.
If Iran tries to go that far, there is little doubt that they would threaten/use nukes or dirty bombs. This creates enough justification to use military strikes to wipe that possibility out of there current/future resources. There is also deterent effect for North Korea who is sitting on that Christmas Suprise they promised. NK only makes noise when the world stage is quiet so they get all the attention for their pissy little antics.
    Its a no brainer.
