Iguana hunt

Hum, what would being overrun by Iguanas be like? Do they tear up anything, or make messes, stink bad, or poo/pee everywhere? I've only been around these little ones here, they are a bit different.

Yes to all poop big stinky piles usually on your walkway eat your wife’s flowers dig under sea walls cause thousands in damage. And after a while it is not even fun to shoot them just another chore.

My son in Key West has these things all over around his house....The porch's, sidewalk, driveway, roof, citrus trees, and the cars. No threat of extinction with these critters!

i grew up in key west also, from 1958, left in 1981, never saw one of those except for the old hippy dude who rode his bike down to mallory square every day for sunset

they need to be used for shark, crab , lobster, grouper bait..... but like the everglades, they will never get rid of the pythons down there unless they have a $100 per snake bounty, with no hunting permits or seasons, 365 days a year, no questions asked.. cut the heads off, leave the body, the hell with that catching them live crap just to make some bleeding heart lib feel good about him/her self

Picked these up December 2022 when it got cold in Boynton Beach fl.
Only thing they could move was their eyeballs and wiggle their fingers a bit.

Ive been wanting to do this for a while, Dr Google says 4 rules...

1. Iguanas can be hunted using air rifles, pellet guns, or non-exploding rimfire firearms.
2. You can legally hunt iguanas without a license.
3. You must have permission from the property owner or be on one of the 32 FWC-managed public lands where eliminating iguanas is encouraged.
4. You must kill the iguana humanely.

Actually, there is one more rule. You can shoot them on your own property where I live, as long as the projectile does not leave your property.
