How many NFA Stamps would you need on this? I really don't need to know. Just a strange configuration.
As is I think One Stamp as a SBR.
If you take off the rear stock, you would need one for AOW for the forward vertical grip (maybe not it looks angled to the rear).
If it had a silencer we could hit the "Trifecta" .
I don't think NFA covers pistols designed to be fired with three hands. LOL

If there was a way to loose the stock, cant you argue none.
    As in XO-26.
Forward grip does not allow it to be carry as a pistol?
    Throw enough money at it.......

    Deleting my reply.
I obviously know nothing of NFA stuff.

The only way to learn is to ask!

To my understanding, the way it works is; Machine Gun > SBR > AOW. So if you have a machine gun, you can put any length barrel on it you want, and SBR rules don't apply. If you have an SBR, you can remove the stock and / or add a forward grip because the SBR trumps the aow regulations.

Hope that offers a little bit of clarity.

My only question would have to be WHY? does he have everything else and this was one config he didn't have???, But seriously Why would you need or want that set up other that the obious WOW factor. It can't help in any way, how far can you shoot a 45acp effectivly ?

In the case that it is a machine pistol, the VFG and stock would probably be pretty helpful.

I was being sarcastic. Fixing to send off two F1's. Just waiting on the lowers for serial numbers.
There are loop hole that it could be a rifle. As In the XO-26.
With the pic in question I was being a smartass in my orginal post.

I saw two of these at an auction about 6 years ago. One was .45 and the other was .38
Colt prototypes and they sold for ridiculous money.

I gotta get me a few of those 25 round .45 mags!!
....without the front grip on a full auto....you'd be dead when the thing did an instantaneous backflip when you pulled the trigger!!!

If you believe the crap on tv, think one of the Bonnie and Clyde crew has something exactly like that.
