Too good of a deal not to let the rest of you know about. Home Depot has a package that includes 2 of the 18V batteries and a charger for $99. The best part of the deal is you can get a free tool with each purchase. I bought 3 sets of the batteries and got a Jigsaw, Angle Grinder and Palm Sander. With the number of batteries I have now I'll be looking to sell most of my corded tools and gas power tools on Facebook Market place or here, no need for them anymore!

I jumped on a version of this deal last year and returned the “free” tool and ended up with 2 18v batteries/charger for a bit more that $50. Considering I bought a $199 Ryobi tool bundle separately , it was a no brainer.

Downside is that the batteries don't seem to last very long.
At the place I used to work, they had a Ryobi leaf blower,
over about 6 months time, it went from clearing the entire parking lot,
to 1/4th of the lot per full charge. Really annoying. On the upside,
since I got a new job, don't have to do that anymore ;)

I like the idea of a cordless palm sander, but dunno if it'd be worthwhile
due to not having any other Ryobi gear to use the batteries on.
Everything else I have is either Milwaukee 20V or Black & Decker 18V.

Passed on to a friend of mine. Said he was going to pick up the chainsaw. It's 189. Not sure if it's a part of the deal.
