Up for sale is a Hobie Cat brand spinnaker for a Hobie 16 catamaran (disclaimer: see last paragraph). It has never been sailed and is like new. Patches and loops for a snuffer system were installed by Schurr Sails in Pensacola, Florida. It comes with a Murray sail bag that is amply large enough to store the spinnaker in.
Measurements: These are general dimensions, but are close. An experienced individual may get some more accurate numbers.
Luff: 21' 4"
Leech 23' 9"
Foot" 10' 2"
There are three snuffer loops. The very top one is a grommet through the sail (run the line through and anchor with a "stopper" knot). The other two are rings. Both types are pictured. The dimensions of the rings from the head to the foot:
Head to top ring: 5.5'
Top ring to middle ring: 7.5'
Middle ring to bottom ring: 7.5'
Bottom ring to foot: 2.5'
The only Hobie 16 spinnaker data Hobie Cat would provide is a sail area of 17.5 square meters. They did confirm that these dimensions correspond well to a HC16 spinnaker.
i have it listed on eBay for $550 but will consider offers. Looking for a P365 too.
