I have been driving an SUV for too many years. So I went out and bought a truck with a 6 1/2 foot bed. Now I need a canopy. I haven’t purchased a canopy in about 20+ years.
Any insight on best values out there?
I could use a little help from the brethren.
    Thanks

Craigslist. I bought my silver contractor cap I have now on Craigslist for $250. I sold my fiberglass homeowner grade cap I had before that on Craigslist for $500. I sold the black contractor cap I used a few years ago to move home here on the forum for like $200. They're around. Just gotta check it every day and be quick to pull the trigger on a deal. Good condition caps won't last a week on the internet

If you're looking for a new one, and you make it over to PC, check out Le Chalet Camper sales on 231 (I think 850-819-7585). They can custom-order (I had an aluminum one made with 6" of additional height over 20 years ago) and MIGHT even have some used ones.

Hey I just remembered that Downtown Motors in Milton has used camper shells stacked up behind their dealership. They are across the street from the Burger King on 90.

It also pays to do a walk through all the junk yards on Fairfield in Pensacola. They sell them for like a hundred bucks

Avoid mike ryans unless you want a new dent in your truck.
Hey I bought a scratch and dent $3,000 contractor cap for my 8 foot bed F250 from Mike Ryan's back in like 2011 for only $150, brand new but with minor storm damage. On a work truck... who cares?! They saved me more money in the contractor cap than the truck was worth :)
