OK I have tried all I know and everything I have read on this but cannot get to cycle properly. Even had a gunsmith replace the oring, still no go. I love this gun...any gunsmith or person that can help? Verona SX-4055 12ga Shotgun?

Yeah John, I have read everything, last time I broke it down and scrapped the carbon, cleaned it well..I am through, I need a pro w auto loader shotguns to look at it and test...very frustrating as it is my favorite 12 ga. It worked good the first year I took it out, then the oring was missing, got that replaced and checked by a gunsmith and it has not been right since.

I thought is was the gas system but thinking the ejector as it does not seem to clear the spent rd for the next one to enter the chamber.

I have heard The Verona SX specifically is imported by Marlin Firearms, which owns NEF and HR1871, the SX is the same shotgun as the NEF Excel Auto 5.

Evidently Gander Mountain services the brand

Well their close but before they went to using cheapo parts lol
Your might be the gas chamber have you tore it apart and cleaned it and I can tell you those autos don't like any kind of gun oil.
If the gas chamber is cruded up it will have effect on the throw which in return will not get the spent shell out of the way before a live one is coming up and in.

Is it a single gas port or double? Have you tried different loads? Could be an ejector/extractor issue.

I have done all I can, someone that knows needs to work on it, I agree all has been checked but the extractor. It has been cleaned, different loads tried, I am not the guy to take it further.
