Looking for a local (panama city beach) gunsmith. Will be returning to the area this week and want to get my remington 700 aac-sd glass bedded. Want good work but also not sky high price.
Or if someone here knows how to do it and wouldn't mind if I came to their house to learn and we can work payment out.

    Thanks
    Rich

It's really not that difficult to do yourself. If someone local isn't able to show you, there are plenty of youtube videos on the subject. I've used Devcon steel putty, but others have recommended Acraglas from Brownells. I used Imperial Sizing Wax for the release agent and it worked very well.

Keep in mind, the result is directly reliant on the prep work.

I think I have watched almost 20 videos and found the one I'm gonna use. It actually looks pretty simple(if you take your time and prep correctly). My buddy is letting me use his garage since I don't have one with a work bench in it. I will be doing it this weekend and also painting the stock also since I will have it all apart.
