You can find Rem 1100’s in 20 ga, just plan to pay $1000 or more! 12 ga 1100 are much easier! I really like 20ga’s but 12 ga is actually much more versatile! If one reloads and for shotguns, it really easy, you can load 12 ga with the same loads as 20 ga! Many guys I shot sheet with does that very thing! Saves shot and even a little powder! But I do like 28 ga and even 410 but if you gonna shoot any amount, you definitely want to reload these because they are expensive!

Back in the early ‘70s, High Standard made a double action western type .22 called “The Marshall”.
I bought one from my brother-in-law in 1973 for $60 and sold it to buy a K-22 in 1974.
I figure I will pick one up if I happen across one. Purely a nostalgic thing for me.
They show up on GB from time to time but I’m not interested enough to jump thru hoops.

My wife keeps this one in the tack room loaded with rat shot. Did yours have White or Stag grips?

The Marshall model was just a Promotional model of the Double Nine. Exact same gun just with Imitation stag or ivory grip.

In 1991 I foolishly sold my 1006. Always regretted it. Also always wanted a long slide 1911 forever but never got one.
