The MK 25 has more corrosion resistant coatings than the Legion. The MK 25 also comes with the short extractor. The newer Legion pistols may have it as well. The rail on the MK 25 is a true Mil-STD 1913 Picatinny rail. The Legion has a Sig proprietary rail that has shallower grooves and a curved face, it works just fine. The legion also has some frame grooves that the MK25 doesn’t have. These are both fine firearms with virtually all, if not ALL parts interchangeable.
IMO a Sig Sauer P226 is the standard for all 9mm pistols built today. How you like it dressed is personal preference. You cannot go wrong with either one. This one is a fine example of a MK25 and well worth the asking price. Just trying to be informative here, to the questions asked.

I agree, $1200 is a great price. Just curious of the known differences. Thanks for the info. Excellent shooting gun.

The Legion has better night sights and SRT trigger and grips and low profile decocker and slide lock, also a long extractor where the 25 has the short extractor. Believe this was a Navy spec for field servicing ease.
