    Most of the foxes you see around here are grey's....its hard to tell sometimes since they are not actually grey. I have seen solid grey foxes (some black but no red at all) but they are few and far between....

    I’d definitely say it’s a gray fox. I haven’t seen one in several months, and then I’ve seen 4 in the last week. I don’t know if it’s their mating season or what, but they are definitely moving a lot right now.

    Yes sir. Like Chef Josh said, a lot of activity right now. I have some in my yard, from time to time. The old timers called em red sided grays for obvious reasons- fun fact
    Seen one yesterday on a back road. Overwhelmed by his sniffer. Almost unfazed when we drove up on him. This is one from my yard.
