Probably some Bill gates revenge thing ? But when trying to post pictures of some AR's I want to sell , every time I try to post a picture I get "file is to large" . Photos in the same file that I put the photos of the AR's in post with no problem. Tried two different camera's same crap. file to big

I used to post from my iPad, but all my photos are now too big…nothing was changed in iPad settings.

Use this link. Upload photo, resize as percentage, slide the bar to resize the image until the first number on image size reads 1200 or less. Then download the resized image. It’ll be large and acceptable for the forum.

It's this site, what I can't figure out is how I can put up old pictures from the same file that I put pictures of the two AR's in. Tried different old files and even started a new one. S O S , that's "Same Old Shit"
I tried putting the same photo's on two different forums. NO problems.
I'll just wait till the next gun show and either get a table or get some "550" cord , make some slings and just walk

No sliding bar, typed in 1200 and the numbers changed to 1200 / 900 but didn't show a place to down load to, Plus THIS site is running really slow for me, no others are. So, maybe tomorrow , if not I'll just keep them loaded in case there is a zombie or any other attacks

This is an issue that may be only a month or so old. There are already a couple threads on it. I have to crop the snot out of my pics to get them to load.
Not sure anything was ever mentioned by the staff.

Believe it or not I have the same problem selling on guns America. I have to crop the pics to less than 1|4 of original size. I could lower resolution but it made for crappy pics to zoom in on for analysis. I'm sure it has something to do with different sites ability to load large amounts of data. I am far from tech savvy so that may be a wrong assumption. BUILD BACK BETTER!

If you are posting from your phone, when it previews the image you can usually select “photo size” at the bottom and select a smaller resolution.
^This works for me.. when attaching a photo from my camera roll, when I choose photo library, at the bottom it says “options” and I turn off the location and resize the photo and it seems to work that way,, YMMV

THANK YOU! I found that option in my iPad (but not in my phone). One is medium and the other small. Not choosing options and trying to post the full size, it failed due to too large of image. Now I need to find work-a-rounds for my desktop computer.

This may help. Click on your camera app on your phone. Then settings. 1st pic.
    Then size|resolution. 3rd pic.

Ok. Will test now. This is a 3 meg pic not cropped or shrunk, and, obviously, it worked. Thank you. Hope the pic isn’t too scary.

Note: Since downloading large pics can give some users problems in download speed, I will continue to post smaller file sizes when my computers allow same.
