I was in Bass Pro in Spanish Fort this morning. They had IMR4227, W296, Reloader 17 and 19 as well as a couple of other powders. They also had Remington 22LR @$2.50/50 limit 5.

i'm running low on imr-4895.....and will not use anything else in handloading for many of my rifles.

i'm scanning every possible place.

with results like this......what would you do ??

I would try a 5 shot grouping then go from there. Have u tried imr 4198 or accurate 2230? If not I'll trade a ounce of ether or both. I wouldn't mind trying some of that imr 4895. I have had nothing but good results with the imr 4198.

I usually shoot 7 shot groups...but this time, my photographer was of the opposite sex and had other things on her mind while captured out in the wilderness at my lease.................:becky:

I have all that powder you mention.....ain't the same with my development.

I was in there yesterday afternoon and picked up 2lbs of BL-C(2). I would have gotten some Unique if it had been there. I need pistol powder more than rifle powder, but I couldn't leave without grabbing some BL-C(2) since I've only found 1lb in the last year or so.

The unique was actually $25.99 I remember that cause I was a little shocked it was so cheap and I want to say the bl-c2 was a few dollars more

Copeland's on Hwy 331 in Freeport has 2-8lb jugs of 3031
& various 1lbers including Titewad, Titegroup, BL-C, IMR 7625, 4227, but you can't have the 4831 I want it ALL for my 6.5 LOL
