    Replaced. Thanks for replies-Does anyone have a garage door Spring for sale? This spring is on the right side as you're looking at the door from inside the garage. The cone has a splash of black paint on it. Thanks. West P'cola

    Honestly I would call https://www.precisiondoor.net/garagedoors

    We had a spring break on our now rental house and they replaced everything for about 1200 and that was the upgraded springs with a lifetime warranty.

    That included a new battery backup wifi opener.

    Thanks, but I just need the one spring for now. The door is reasonably new. I'll change them both with new soon.

    Always best to replace both sides at the same time. Length and diameter is very important. DIY replacement is not for the faint of heart. Number of turns to tighten are also very important. I have done several and Amazon has had the best deal for complete sets.
