Amazing condition 1949 Colt Woodsman with original box and paperwork. Gun was not fired many times, comes with two original Colt pristine magazines and the two original backstrap grip adjusters. You will not find many in this condition. Bluing is perfect.

The Colt Woodsman is a semi-automatic sporting pistol manufactured by the U.S.Colt's Manufacturing Company from 1915 to 1977. It was designed by John Moses Browning. The frame design changed over time, in three distinct series: series one being 1915–1941, series two 1947–1955, and series three being 1955–1977.

Colt resumed production of the Woodsman in 1948. The three Models remained the same, but were built on a longer heavier frame and had a magazine safety, automatic slide stop and magazine release located at the rear of the trigger guard.

Yes, I shot it twice, everything works fine. Prob could use a good internal cleaning, but functions great.

I’ve got a gen 3 Target and Match Target. The Woodsman & S&W 41 are the best .22 autos ever made. IMHO of course.
