    If the forum gets big enough that the ad revenue could cover the cost and nobody were buying raffle tickets, would it still be considered gambling?

    man.. who knew?.. i had a look at the fl statutes which detail just about anything you can think of.. penny poker is ok as long as the pot is 10 dollars or less?.. we have way too many laws on the books... the way i read it is against the law for a bunch of us to say stand around outside a store somewhere , have everyone donate xxx to a kitty , draw straws to see who gets to go inside and buy something!!!. wtf!!

    mullet i thought this was a great idea.. but there does not seem to be any way that it would be legal .. and the consequences for this forum would be grim..

    There is normally a drawing for a knife If you give them all your per. info for there mailing lists! The Gun raffle I hve seen have been do with the proceeds going to a non-profit like Shriners or a Vets support foundation.
