After having seen an inflight emergency on an airline this week, it got me to wondering, where can I take some first aid classes and/ or trauma training? This could be a good thing as I spend a lot of time away from town.

    Any suggestions?

I have had some medical training although it was with a vet. I can help you but I will have to muzzle you first so you don't bite!

Local Red Cross usually holds basic first aid classes . Check with local jr. collage as well . Sign up for CERT training classes . I started a forum discussion on a few of the topics earlier this year . Good luck .

Check with local fire dept. They do refresher courses. So they might do beginning courses as well
