Am I to assume this question is to help said doctor identify poor parenting abilities or to help
the NSA identify threats to national security . Instead of a yes or no box to check , they should insert
a 5th amendment box . I would certainly check that one
    .

I see no reason for doctors to know if you own a gun. My answer would be NO everytime. i'm sure it has to do with gun control....again.

I've never been asked that before but if I were to be asked my answer would be the same as when they ask for my Social Security number - I leave it blank.
If they ask why it's blank I always say "I don't give out that information unless there is a real need to know and I don't see any real reason for you to know."
Most of the time they say "Oh, OK."
Only once did I get challenged and the desk person said "We have to have that information."
I said "Ok, just cancel my appointment" and headed for the door.
She called me back and said she guess they didn't really needed it.

Pediatric Society added this shit in a few years back, tried to get ER docs to do the same. You don't have to answer. It is another tool of the government.

The next time you are at Batpist HOSP. READ THE CONSENT FORM check the bottom and the top of the next page. It tells you cant have a weapon , and if they find one they can take it and get rid of it. You should have seen the girls face when I told her I wouldn't sign it. Just my 25 cents jj

Can't have one period or on premises?
Pretty sure hospitals aren't on the "no carry" list for fl law.

Hospitals that offer psychiatric services are off limits to carrying. Hospitals that do not, such as Sacred Heart, are gtg even though they have the no guns signs on the doors.
