Was de-priming a batch of 9mm the other night and the pin got stuck in one of the primers and pulled out of the die. Has this every happened to anyone? What happened?

The pin is held in by tightening the expander ball on the stem that runs through the die. Just take apart the die and loosen the ball on the end of the stem and insert the pin and tighten using some pliers, then put back together and your good to go.

This has happened to me as well. Try to be careful not to mar up the pin with the pliers if you have to use them. Maybe wrap a cloth around it before you grab it with the pliers. And patience. What brand die? I couldn't view your picture. I have never had this happen on pistol rounds, only rifle Lee dies. And very rare.
