Cool truck I got

I got this chunk of awesomeness from my cousin last week. It's a 1987 f150 single cab short bed with a 1983 f350 2wd dually drivetrain swapped in with a 460 and c6. Guy had it set up as a tow truck. It needs a few little things but motor runs and sounds good. For a grand total of $500 in it I think I made out. Good title and all. Prob gonna end up olive drab and prob converted to 4x4.

That Quadrajet can really be an asset on the 460. I built one and put it on my stroker motor in the '56. It doesn't beat fuel injection, but it comes pretty close if set up correctly.

It sure looks complicated compared to a holley or an edelbrock. I have a 750 double pumper here my buddy said I can put on it. I can't tune carbs worth a damn but holleys seem easiest to me.
