Item Description Colt Super converted to 38 wadcutter. Smith and Wesson extended barrel with two hard to find Colt magazines. Built for bullseye shooting so extremely accurate. Trigger as smooth as glass! I bought a scope mount but haven't had it installed yet (included). BoMar sights on the .38 upper.*Custom trigger shoe. Some 38 wadcutter ammo included. Beautiful condition. Also a Marvel Unit 1 .22 conversion *with scope mount, two single stack magazines and one double stack. Ultradot mounted on the conversion. Probably more extras that I forgot to mention. Would like to sell as a package but may consider selling the Marvel (450 without Ultradot.) and keeping the Colt. Interesting piece, what is the advantage of wadcutter over super? GLWS

my guess would be less recoil, less cost , nice clean hole in paper.

These were converted for competition precision (bullseye) shooters primarily for their extreme accuracy. RidgeRunner is correct in that they do have low recoil and cut pretty holes too!

Also, the Marvel conversion is the most accurate of the 1911 .22 conversions. There are several companies that make them but you'll probably only see Marvel at the nationals.
