This is a LNIB Colt Government Model (.45 APC). It cost $800.00 + new and has only been shot about a dozen times. I added Pachmayer Signature Grips that cost $25.62 new, and a Galco CM212 holster that cost $71.00 new. I still have original wooden grips that will go with it. Serial number shows it being built in 2011. Colt list this gun for $800.00, but that is not the one with 100 years of service etched on it and this one has a couple of extras. You must be legally allowed to own and purchase this firearm. You also must be willing to fill out a Bill of sale.

I actually didn't even think about the 100 Years of Service engraving on the side was because it was made in 2011. Sometimes the brain just doesn't put 2 and 2 together 2011 - 1911 =100 years. I guess we will have to wait for about 94 more years to get one that has 200 years of service on it.
