Bride got this for me to play with when I get home. Can be made into a spear and appears to have a solid sheath. I had added it to my Amazon cart awhile back. Figured it might work for skinning deer. I've had good luck with other cold steel products.
    Anybody try one??

Looks solid. I’ve never tried one but I’ve also never been disappointed in a cold steel product either. Matter of fact, I have co cold steel Luzon in my pocket right now.

ive thought about getting one for my gethome bag. my theory is that a dog sticker could be the most important weapon to have if you had to walk home very far.
On a shorter handle it would be like a Zulu spear. If walking you could cover the end with a rag. ( hidden till ya need it) should be fun to fool with.
Rubber test tube stopper might be a good idea for small storage. ( 2-- small front and large rear.)

my current setup is a rat tail file jbwelded into the end of a hiking stick and covered with a pvc handle. no cutting edge, just a spearpoint.
