What are the receiver markings on this one Tinker,,,
I haven't seen any Chinese in the dark stocks other than the first ones China produced & they had Russian & Chinese parts

Here's a good link for info
    http://yooperj.com/SKS.htm

Damn I guess I should've looked at the page myself,,, there are some dark Chinese stocks shown
but the "Sino-Soviet" version is more desirable to collectors

Thanks for posting those links. After spending an hour looking over them, I'm more than a little baffled. The importer markings say China, but there isn't a single Chinese character or arsenal mark anywhere. BUT there is a small Tula star after the serial number. There are no Cyrillic characters, but CM and K are in the serial number which MIGHT be Cyrillic. Perhaps an early Sino-Soviet? I'm going to hang on to this at least until I know more about it.

BTW, the stock has a matching serial and is laminate. Also, the top cover serial doesn't match - bummer.

Yep, the serial matches and is the only mark on the stock making me believe it was put on at a later date.
